Terms of Service

Last updated on June 13, 2026.

These terms govern access to and use of the Propklar website, application, APIs, tenant portal, and related services.

Agreement to These Terms

By creating an account, accepting an invitation, accessing the tenant portal, or otherwise using Propklar, you agree to these terms. If you use Propklar for an organization, property owner, or business, you represent that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.

If you do not agree to these terms, do not use Propklar.

The Service

Propklar provides software for property owners, managers, team members, and tenants to organize property operations, including rent tracking, maintenance, documents, assets, approvals, communications, activity logs, reminders, and reporting.

Propklar is a software provider. Unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing, Propklar does not act as a landlord, property manager, broker, agent, accountant, lawyer, payment collector, maintenance provider, contractor, or escrow service.

Accounts, Roles, and Access

  • You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity under your account.
  • Workspace owners and admins are responsible for inviting the right users, assigning appropriate roles and permissions, and removing access when it is no longer needed.
  • Tenant portal users may access only the information made available to them through their linked tenant profile and portal permissions.
  • You must notify us promptly at hello@propklar.com if you suspect unauthorized access or misuse.

Customer Data

Customer data means information, files, records, communications, and other content that you or your users submit to Propklar. You retain ownership of customer data. You grant Propklar the limited rights needed to host, process, transmit, display, back up, secure, and support customer data in order to provide and improve the service.

You are responsible for customer data, including its accuracy, legality, completeness, permissions, and whether you have the right to upload or share it. This includes tenant data, contact data, lease documents, payment information, photos, invoices, IDs, and property records.

Acceptable Use

  • Do not use Propklar for unlawful, misleading, harmful, abusive, discriminatory, or fraudulent activity.
  • Do not upload malware, exploit vulnerabilities, interfere with the service, overload infrastructure, or bypass security controls.
  • Do not access data you are not authorized to access or attempt to discover another user account, workspace, file, or system.
  • Do not use Propklar to harass tenants, owners, managers, vendors, or other people.
  • Do not upload content that infringes intellectual property, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other rights.
  • Do not use automated scraping, crawling, or extraction except as permitted by an approved integration or written agreement.

Subscriptions, Trials, and Payment

Some Propklar features may be free, in beta, subject to usage limits, or available only through a paid subscription. Pricing, included features, limits, renewal periods, taxes, and billing terms are shown at checkout, in the product, or in a written order.

If you start a paid subscription, you authorize Propklar and its payment processors to charge applicable fees and taxes using the payment method you provide. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.

You can cancel a subscription according to the cancellation flow made available in the product or by contacting support. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated in a written agreement.

Beta and Early Access Features

Propklar may offer beta, preview, experimental, or early access features. These features may be incomplete, changed, limited, suspended, or discontinued at any time. They are provided for evaluation and may be less reliable than generally available features.

Third-Party Services

Propklar may integrate with or rely on third-party services such as authentication providers, email delivery providers, hosting providers, analytics tools, file storage, payment providers, calendar tools, or communication services. Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for third-party services, data, products, content, outages, changes, or actions unless required by law.

No Professional Advice

Propklar may help organize rent, expenses, documents, maintenance, compliance, reports, reminders, analytics, or operational records. Propklar does not provide legal, tax, accounting, financial, insurance, brokerage, engineering, construction, or property management advice.

You are responsible for verifying records, complying with local laws, reviewing lease and tenant obligations, confirming maintenance work, and consulting qualified professionals when needed.

Intellectual Property

Propklar and its software, design, branding, documentation, templates, and related materials are owned by Propklar or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the rights expressly granted in these terms, no rights are transferred to you.

If you submit feedback or suggestions, you grant Propklar the right to use them without restriction or compensation.

Availability and Changes

We aim to provide a reliable service, but Propklar may be unavailable from time to time because of maintenance, updates, provider outages, security work, or events outside our control. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features as the product evolves.

Suspension and Termination

You may stop using Propklar at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these terms, created risk for Propklar or others, failed to pay fees, or used the service in a way that could cause legal, security, or operational harm.

After termination, access to the service may stop, but certain terms will continue to apply, including provisions about customer data, payment obligations, intellectual property, disclaimers, limits of liability, and dispute handling.

Disclaimers

Propklar is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, error-free operation, and accuracy of outputs or records.

You are responsible for backing up important records outside Propklar when appropriate and verifying information before relying on it for legal, financial, operational, or safety decisions.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Propklar will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, loss of goodwill, property damage, tenant disputes, vendor failures, or professional advice decisions.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Propklar's total liability for all claims relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to Propklar for the service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim or USD 100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so these limits apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Indemnity

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold Propklar harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your customer data, your use of the service, your violation of these terms, your violation of law, or your violation of another person's rights.

Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by applicable law, excluding conflict of law rules. If a separate written agreement or order form specifies governing law, venue, arbitration, or dispute procedures, that written agreement controls for the covered service.

Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact hello@propklar.com and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue informally.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as Propklar changes. If an update is material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as posting the new terms in the product or sending an email notice. Continued use of Propklar after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
